1. Undergraduate Programs
1.1 Leibniz University of Hannover
Established in 1831, LUH is a modern university which has been world wide recognized on its research quality. Teaching is conducted whit the support of modern facilities, basing on the latest research results, in line with applying technology projects. As a result, students are supplied with that top of teaching quality, which spurs them in their career afterward. Today, there are around 2000 scientists teaching and conducting researches in LUH in 17 facilities with 160 schools.
The University offers Bachelor, Master and Doctor Degree in the fields of Technology and Natural Science. The university annually attracts a lot of international students, currently around 12% of students at the university are oversea students.
LUH has cooperated with HUST to offer undergraduate program in Mechatronics Engineering since 2002 and Electronics and Tele-communications since 2011. The students who graduate from LUH-HUST program will be accepted to master program at LUH if they apply.
1.2. Nagaoka University of Technology
Nagaoka University of technology (NUT), established in 1976, is one of the top leading universities of Japan in the field of technology. The main objective of the university is training a new generation of engineers, who have the ability to approach and promote creatively industrial achievements generated by the former generation. In addition to focusing on postgraduate training, the university goal is to encourage student combine theory and practice. With the aim of building an international training environment, NUT has a welcoming policy for students from abroad. Currently, there are around 200 international students from more than 20 countries, in which 10% are students from HUST. From 2006, the twinning program has expanded with the consortium: Gunma University, Toyohashi University of Technology, Nagoya Institute of Technology, Gifu University, Utsunomia University, Kushyu University, Tokyo University of Agriculture.
1.3. Grenoble Institute of Technology
GRENOBLE – INP established in 1900 is a member of the Consortium Linking Universities of Science and Technology for Education and Research (CLUSTER). The institute consists of 9 engineering schools and 32 research centers with modern facilities. GRENOBLE –INP is one of the best education and research institutions of France in particular and of the European Union in general, and is one the top five Physics and IT research centers in the world. Every year, GRENOBLE –INP educate thousands of engineers and around 200 doctors….Currently, there are thousands of international students studying and doing research in GRENOBLE –INP. Within the cooperative program between France and Vietnam, Grenoble –INP has supplied HUST with a multimedia IT research laboratory (MICA center).
Grenoble – INP has cooperated with HUST jointly offer undergraduate program in Information Technology since 2003.
1.4. Victoria University of Wellington
Established in 1897, Victoria University of Wellington locates in the capital of Wellington and is one of the top institutions in New Zealand. Currently there are more than 1.800 experienced lectures and professors teaching and conducting researchers and more than 22.000 students of undergraduate and graduate level (with 2.500 international students). The university offers students with varied fields of study such as Business Administration, Law, Architecture and Design, Natural Sciences, Social Science and Humanities.
VUW cooperated with HUST to deliver bachelor of commerce program since 2005. The students can complete degree at HUST and will be awarded HUST degree. Students can transfer to VUW to gain VOW degree provided that they will meet English and Financial requirements from VUW.
1.5. La Trobe University
La Trobe is one of Australian leading universities, with a world-wide reputation for academic excellence and innovation. Founded in 1967, Latrobe University (LTU)now has a network of campuses with over 21,000 students at its main campus at Bundoora’s Melbourne suburb and over 5,900 at other campuses. LTU also has a diverse community of more than 2,400 staff and over 3,000 international students from over 100 countries. LTU is a founding member of the International Network of Universities – a consortium of 11 universities in 9 countries, promoting international exchange and research collaboration.
1.6. Troy University
Established in 1887, Troy universities is a public institute comprised of a network of campuses throughout Alabama and Worldwide. It is confirmed by Troy that “ Troy university is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate, baccalaureate, master’s, education specialist and doctoral degrees. With its 100 traditional years of offering Undergraduate and Graduate Education, TROY has gained remarkable achievements and become one of the most prestige universities in the South of the USA. Troy are offering 70 fields of study for over 20, 000 students. The university is delivering degree programs in more than 10 countries and 60 and Master of Business Administration offered by Troy is accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs – ACBSP.
Troy University has cooperated with HUST to deliver bachelor programs in business administration and computer science.
1.7.University of Pierre Mendes France
University of Pierre Mendes France (UPMF) is a university of social science belonging to Ministry of Research, Graduate Education and National Education, France. UPMF is among the Grenoble universities, i.e Joseph Fourrier, Stendhal and Grenoble University. Currently, there are 20,000 students studying at the university, including 3,200 international students. The university offers degree with diver majors and specialization but has reputation in Economics and Management. UPMF training and education system follows the European Union structure; Licence-Master-Docteur. Within the cooperative framework between HUST and UPMF, many HUST students and staff have been sent to UPMF for further education.
UPMF has cooperated with Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) to jointly offer licence program in industrial management since 2006. The students who successfully complete the program will be awarded Licience from UPMF and can continue Master program and UPMF or other French Universities.
2. Graduate Programs
2.1. University of Leipzig
Universität Leipzig was founded in 1409 and is thus the second oldest university in Germany where teaching has continued without interruption. Today it offers a wide spectrum of academic disciplines at 14 faculties with more than 150 institutes.
From A for African Studies to W for West Slavic Studies, Universität Leipzig is a classic university with the whole range of subjects from natural sciences through law, human and veterinary medicine to numerous arts degrees. 28,000 young people from all over the world are currently studying on more than 140 courses. A variety of co-operation programmes with foreign partner universities and an internationally oriented choice of subjects make Leipzig attractive for students world-wide. The University has exchange programmes with over 350 ERASMUS partner universities in some 150 European cities and with more than 60 universities outside Europe.
The traditionally broad range of subjects also constitutes the basis for interdisciplinary research of the highest ranking. This is reflected particularly in the six top-level research areas in which several faculties together co-operate with non-University research institutions. The great tradition of Universität Leipzig is illustrated by its prestigious scholars and Nobel laureates, such as Wilhelm Wundt, Wilhelm Ostwald, Ivan Petrović Pavlov, Werner Heisenberg, Shin’ichirō Tomonaga, Gustav Hertz, Hans Mayer or Ernst Bloch. Its famous students include Thomas Müntzer, Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, Gotthold Ephraim Lessing, Johann Wolfgang Goethe, Friedrich Nietzsche, Richard Wagner, Felix Bloch, Edward Teller, Wang Foh-san, Carl Friedrich von Weizsäcker, Hans-Dietrich Genscher and Angela Merkel. The Universität Leipzig currently boasts more than 150,000 alumni.
Leipzig has the unique flair of a contemporary metropolis with a wide-ranging cultural life, lively residential districts and a wealth of sporting and leisure facilities. The cultural scene is further enriched by the University’s museums and collections and the “Leipzig University Music” society.
The new campus on Augustusplatz at the heart of the city will shortly be completed. It provides an outstanding environment for study, with its up-to-the-minute lecture-theatre and seminar building, the first 24-hour library in Saxony, its future Auditorium Maximum and Paulinum, the University Computing Centre and the Refectory by the park.
2.2. University of Northampton
Founded in the early 20th century, the University of Northampton is a dynamic and modern institution, offering high quality courses and top quality teaching. The University is accredited by QAA (Quality Assurances Agency for Higher Education). The University has achieved the top ranking among UK Universities for ‘Value Added’ in the Guardian Universities League table for 2012.
With over 35 years’ experience, Northampton Business School (NBS) – a member of The Association of Business Schools, has a long standing reputation for teaching excellence and is globally renowned in Business subject areas such as Business Administration, Financial and Banking, Human Resource Management, IT Service Management. NBS comfortably ranked in the top quartily of around 110 UK business schools for overall satisfaction with the program in the National Student Survey 2007, 2008 and 2009. NBS ranks 9th from 123 U.K. business schools in the National Students Survey (2010). Currently, NBS has more than 2,000 students, including 300 international students from outside the European Union. In addition, the students can also enroll on program located internationally in Dubai, Vietnam and New Zealand.
